VERDENT'S PUBLISHING TERMS
Date of Last Revision: May 25, 2026
Verdent (“Verdent,” “we,” “us,” and “our”) provides publishing services through which you may publish, deploy, display, host, share, or otherwise make your content, materials, information, data, code, media, projects, websites, or other materials (collectively, “User Content”) accessible to third parties (collectively, the “Publishing Services”). These Publishing Terms govern your access to and use of the Publishing Services. By accessing or using the Publishing Services, you agree to be bound by these Publishing Terms. These Publishing Terms are incorporated into Verdent's Terms of Use. Matters not covered here are governed by Verdent's Terms of Use. For purposes of these Publishing Terms, “End Users” means any visitors, viewers, users, customers, or other third parties who access, interact with, or submit information through your published website, project, application, or User Content.
1. Subdomain Naming and Management
As part of the Publishing Services, we may allow you to publish websites or similar projects under the verdent.app domain through subdomains.
The verdent.app domain and all related subdomains and related DNS, routing, hosting, and configuration rights are owned or controlled by us. Your use of any such subdomain is limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable, and solely in connection with your permitted use of the Publishing Services. You do not acquire any ownership, proprietary, possessory, permanent, exclusive, or ongoing rights in any subdomain made available by us, and you should not rely on the continued availability of any particular subdomain. You may not select, use, or maintain any subdomain name that:
- (a) infringes, misappropriates, or otherwise violates any trademark, brand name, trade name, copyright, publicity right, privacy right, or other rights of any third party;
- (b) impersonates, suggests affiliation with, or is likely to be confused with Verdent, any public authority, any third-party brand, organization, or individual; or
- (c) is otherwise misleading, deceptive, fraudulent, abusive, or likely to confuse members of the public.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to reclaim, reassign, redirect, suspend, disable, restrict access to, or terminate any subdomain or related published website. We will generally provide reasonable prior notice before reclaiming or reassigning a subdomain for ordinary operational reasons; however, we reserve the right to take immediate action without prior notice where necessary to address urgent circumstances, including, without limitation, security risks, unlawful content, regulatory or law enforcement requests, violations of these Publishing Terms, violations of Verdent's policies, or other risks to Verdent, End Users, third parties, or the Publishing Services.
2. User Content
You are solely responsible for your User Content, your published websites, your use of the Publishing Services, and all activity occurring through your account, projects, subdomains, or published links. You represent and warrant that you have all rights, licenses, permissions, consents, and authority necessary to create, upload, input, generate, publish, display, distribute, host, or otherwise make your User Content available through the Publishing Services.
You are responsible for reviewing, validating, testing, and securing any AI-generated output, code, website, application, design, content, configuration, integration, or other material before publishing it. We do not guarantee that any AI-generated output or published project will be accurate, secure, lawful, non-infringing, unique, complete, functional, or suitable for your intended purpose.
3. Prohibited Content and Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Publishing Services to create, publish, host, display, distribute, transmit, promote, or otherwise make available any content, project, website, or material that:
- (a) contains violent, hateful, terrorist, extremist, criminal, or other harmful or dangerous content;
- (b) contains pornographic, sexually explicit, exploitative, or otherwise inappropriate adult content;
- (c) is defamatory, abusive, harassing, threatening, intimidating, discriminatory, or otherwise harmful to others;
- (d) infringes, misappropriates, or otherwise violates any privacy, publicity, intellectual property, contractual, consumer protection, data protection, or other rights of any person or entity;
- (e) is fraudulent, deceptive, misleading, or involves phishing, scams, impersonation, credential harvesting, brand abuse, fake login pages, fake payment pages, or other abusive or deceptive activity;
- (f) contains malware, malicious code, spyware, viruses, unauthorized access mechanisms, backdoors, vulnerability exploitation, or other harmful technical functionality;
- (g) involves spam, abusive communications practices, or other unauthorized or unlawful communications;
- (h) harms, exploits, targets, minors or is otherwise inappropriate for minors;
- (i) collects, processes, or requests sensitive personal data, children's data, payment card data, health information, government identifiers, biometric data, financial account information, passwords, authentication credentials, or other high-risk information, except where legally permitted and appropriately safeguarded; or
- (j) otherwise violates any applicable law, regulation, legal obligation, Verdent policy, or these Publishing Terms.
We may, but are not obligated to, review, scan, investigate, moderate, remove, disable, restrict, or block access to User Content or published websites that we reasonably believe may violate these Publishing Terms, applicable law, third-party rights, or pose security, abuse, legal, operational, or reputational risk.
4. Repeat Infringer Policy
We maintain and reasonably implement a policy providing for the termination, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, of accounts belonging to users determined to be repeat infringers. We reserve the right to take appropriate action against users who infringe or are alleged to infringe the intellectual property rights or other rights of others, including removing content, disabling access, restricting publication, reclaiming subdomains, or suspending or terminating access to the Publishing Services, even if such users are not determined to be repeat infringers.
5. End User Data and Privacy Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for your relationship with End Users and for your collection, use, disclosure, storage, protection, and other processing of any information relating to End Users through your published websites, projects, applications, forms, integrations, analytics tools, cookies, SDKs, pixels, databases, payment tools, authentication tools, or third-party services.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement or data processing addendum, you acknowledge that you, and not Verdent, are responsible for determining whether and how your published website collects End User information, what notices and consents are required, and how End User rights requests are handled. If we process End User information solely to provide hosting, deployment, logging, security, or other technical services on your behalf, we will do so subject to the applicable agreement between you and Verdent.
You may not state or imply in any privacy notice, cookie notice, terms, or other communication that Verdent is responsible for your End User data practices, your legal compliance, or your third-party tools, except to the extent expressly stated in Verdent's own policies or a written agreement with Verdent.
6. Third-Party Services and Integrations
Your published website or project may include, link to, call, embed, or interoperate with third-party services, APIs, SDKs, models, analytics tools, databases, or other third-party materials or services. You are solely responsible for selecting, configuring, securing, licensing, and complying with the terms, policies, and legal requirements applicable to any such third-party services or materials.
We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, third-party content, third-party policies, or any disclosure, processing, deletion, loss, unavailability, security issue, or legal claim arising from your use of third-party services in connection with your published website or User Content.
7. Disclaimers and User Responsibility
We provide the Publishing Services solely as a technical platform and hosting or publishing tool. We have no obligation to monitor, pre-screen, review, verify, or approve your User Content, published websites, End User interactions, or third-party tools, and we do not endorse, verify, guarantee, or assume responsibility for them. Any review, scanning, moderation, removal, restriction, or other action we take does not create an obligation to monitor all content or services, and does not make us responsible for your User Content or your legal compliance.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Publishing Services and any published output are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, security, or uninterrupted operation.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, fines, penalties, costs, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or relating to:
- (a) your User Content, published websites, subdomains, project names, page names, logos, marks, or other identifiers;
- (b) your End Users or End User Data;
- (c) your collection, use, disclosure, storage, protection, or other processing of personal data or other information;
- (d) your third-party tools, services, integrations, APIs, SDKs, models, cookies, analytics tools, payment tools, authentication tools, or other external services;
- (e) your breach of these Publishing Terms, Verdent's Terms of Use, or any other applicable terms or policies;
- (f) your violation of applicable law or third-party rights; or
- (g) your fraud, abuse, security failures, misconfiguration, negligence, willful misconduct, or misuse of the Publishing Services.
8. Reports, Takedowns, and Platform Enforcement
If you believe that any User Content, published website, subdomain, or activity made available through the Publishing Services is unlawful, infringing, abusive, deceptive, unsafe, or otherwise violates these Publishing Terms, you may submit a report to us through hi@verdent.ai.
A report should include, where applicable:
- (a) the URL, subdomain, or other specific location of the reported content;
- (b) a description of the content or activity being reported;
- (c) the legal, safety, policy, or rights-based reason for the report;
- (d) supporting evidence or documentation, if available;
- (e) your name and contact information; and
- (f) a statement that the information in your report is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
After reviewing a report or otherwise identifying a potential violation, we may take any action we consider appropriate, including removing content, disabling access, suspending publication, suspending or terminating an account, preserving evidence, or notifying authorities, rights holders, service providers, or affected parties where appropriate.
Where required by applicable law or where we consider it appropriate, we may provide the affected user with information about our action and an opportunity to contact us or request review. We may act without prior notice where we reasonably believe immediate action is necessary to address legal, security, fraud, abuse, child safety, public safety, regulatory, or other urgent risks.
We do not guarantee that we will investigate every report or take any particular action in response to a report. Any review, moderation, removal, restriction, or other action we take does not create any obligation to monitor all User Content or published websites, and does not make us responsible for User Content, published websites, or users' compliance with applicable laws.
